When to start washing?

When is a good time to start washing baby clothes, blankets, etc?? Due in 8 weeks

Start NOW!!! We started washing around 17 weeks (I started shopping as soon as I found out the gender haha). We washed our daughter's stuff as we purchased it or received it! It was a lot of work, especially after each baby shower, but I was determined to have everything washed and organized in her closet and drawers before she was born. Definitely start washing now!!!

I’m 36 weeks. I started at 34. By 37 the baby is technically full term so I don’t want to be caught off guard.

I would wait to wash clothes everything else is ok ,with clothes wash as you go in case baby is too big and you’re left with washed clothes you can’t exchange for a bigger size..

Just a thought... I was told not to wash absolutely everything in case your baby is big or small or doesn’t wear all the clothes you have been given... keeping tags on you can return. I can tell I have been given some clothes 9 mos size that are kinda winter season and I’m due Sept 2. She may be in the next summer heat unless she is smaller... never know how you baby could grow!  I plan on def washing mattress pads and cribs sheets and boppy covers as well a burp/swaddles
