Do you have a social work degree? I am graduating in August and landed my social work job in the hospital after interning there all summer. I have some advice
First GET LICENSED, no hospital will want u without one
Second contact the lead social worker and ask if you can volunteer or shadow, to get your foot in the door. My boss tells me she wants her perspective employees to woo her, e mail them and let them know your interested, send ur resume attached and let it be known u are INTERESTED
Also make sure it’s a hospital that is supportive of social workers. We have two hospitals in my town, and the larger one depends on their nurses to do the social work jobs.

Where do you live? Most hospitals in my area require a Master degree is social work and clinical licensure. I live in GA.
