Are braces worth paying for?

got told at my dentist appointment that braces could cost up to $3,000-5000. Not sure if I should really pay this much...

I paid $4000 for one kid and $5000 for the other kid. Your smile is so important. It was worth it bc my girls are gorgeous and should have beautiful smiles

Yes! Teeth are typically the first thing people notice. Unfortunately in our society, people who have straighter, better looking teeth are favored more.

So there is a program for children of parents who don’t have enough money to pay for braces. It’s called “Smiles Change Lives”. And they will pay for the braces! It’s a pretty lengthy process of applying and enrolling. I was blessed enough to get into this program, as was my sister. A smile, can 100% change a live. I feel SO much more confident. It’s amazing.

I got braces when I was in middle school. I never really had crooked teeth but I had a slight open bite and my braces completely fixed the issue.
When I graduated HS my senior superlative was Best Smile ☺️😁

Braces are worth it!! I got mine two years ago finally are coming off! Worth every penny!!! And no--- going on Medicaid will not get you free braces .

Having braces and a better smile made me feel better about my appearance and also helped my confidence. I just got my braces off for a few months to work on fixing my bite and then I will be getting them back. They have quoted me to $6k I believe. But definitely worth it. This is what my teeth look so far. I’m kinda excited to get my braces back soon.

I had braces in middle school, and due to the fact I had a flipper when I got them off I was super embarrassed and never wore my retainer. Here I am in my early 20s paying to have braces again bc my biggest insecurity is my smile. I’ve got three more months left until I get them off and I’m already so happy with how my smile looks! Plus like everyone else is saying, there’s an option to do monthly payments. My total was almost $6k and I’m only paying $135/month. So I saw it as totally worth it!

Our 16 year old needs them to align her teeth for her jaw surgery so she 100% needed it. It’s a lot of money but worth it in the end
