We were told it was unlikely we would be able to conceive again due to scarring in my Fallopian tubes from a rare infection. We learned this in February or March, with my period returning just a few weeks prior (nursing my now two year old kept me flow free for ~22 months after giving birth). In April, we started trying again, though without paying it too much attention.

Hubby left on a Saturday for two weeks military training. I donated most of my maternity clothes Monday. Got my positive test Thursday. Blood tests Thurs, Sat, Mon confirmed promising levels. The next Saturday I greeted my husband with a kiss and a card that read: Roses are red, violets are blue, inside of me two hearts beat for you.
