is boating safe in early pregnancy?

this might sound silly but just wondering if boating is safe during 1st trimester if the water gets choppy and is a little rough?

I personally wouldn’t if potential to be choppy. I went on a boating trip 2 months ago in South Africa and omg the boat hit so hard on the waves my back was aching after. Wouldn’t be good for your back and also the babe.

depends what kind of a boat and waters... around 7-8 weeks I have a boat trip, at around 9-10 weeks I have a boat and then airplane trip to turkey coming up. not cancelling both.

My Dr advised me to not go in a boating trip...the up and down movement of the boat could dislodge baby...so, I canceled my trip...but I think it comes down to a personal choice & what kind of a trip it is!
