4th degree tear

Had a 4th degree tear. One month postpartum now. Still in pain pretty often, mostly at the end of the day. I know I overdo it, I have a 2 year old as well so I can’t relax like they say. Anyone else experience a 4th degree and if so, what was recovery time like?
