Giving a guy a gift? (not dating yet)

Hi,

So there’s this guy from University that I like. I think he may like me too (he has said he was interested in me before and we’ve flirted a bit). Anyway, since holidays we haven’t seen each other but he did invite me to his birthday get together. I wasn’t able to go but before I knew I wouldn’t be able to make it, I bought part of a present online already. I’m going to be seeing him next week once we go back to Uni and I was wondering if it’d be weird to give him the belated gift? It’s nothing fancy, two small things. We haven’t gone on a date or anything and asides from talking daily I’m not sure what’s happening between us. Any tips or advice would be appreciated! Thank You 😊
