Getting each feeding started is becoming really hard. We are 2 weeks since having our son. He always has his hands in his mouth and it makes it really hard to get the latch/get feeding started. Any tips are appreciated. I usually have my husband hold him to calm him down some and kinda hold his hands while I get him latched. But I’ve read pinning his hands isn’t a great idea and neither is swaddling. My husband also goes back to work in a week so I can’t rely on his second set of hands. Also I’m using a nipple shield so sometimes my baby rips it off of me during this process of trying to get him on there.
