It has an effect for sure. It’s not as easy as a regular relationship but that doesn’t mean it won’t work.

A GOOD effect. My husband is military so there is a lot of distance that we can’t control, but the saying ‘distance makes the heart grow fonder’ couldn’t be anymore true! You have to put work into it like you would any other relationship but if  both parties put in the work then there is no reason for it not to work out.

for me long distance just doesn't work out. I require physical contact at less once a week or I start thinking he doesn't love me anymore.....I have serious trust issues but I can push them away when I see my bf
