Just got the Mirena!

Did anyone else have their period stop/come to a crawl after it was inserted?

I've searched and can only find long term period talk. I'm talking, I have heavy periods naturally, I went it to get it on my second day mid-heavy stream. After I got it in I had one day normal period, and then since then only light spotting.

That's just so weird! Still cramping up a storm too, and I can't find the strings :( (day 3 of having Mirena)
