Do you know how to maintain your car?

I’m genuinely curious! I’d love to know how many woman know how to maintain their cars. I think it’s a lot more common than men think.

Oil Change. Tire Change. Fill up the tank. Fill washer fluid. 👍🏻 my dad always told me to leave brake things to the professionals because brakes can be picky and you want to be sure they’re done right. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I don’t know a damn thing. My mom calls me and tells me what to do “ you get a oil change yet?” “You rotate them tires?” “You get a alignment?”🤣🤣🤣 but my mom is a truck driver so she knows everything.

My father is a mechanic so there's no way he was gonna let me grow up and not teach me. He used to be a trucker when I was wee and now he operates heavy equipment for the government, so he taught me a thing or two about the bigger rigs as well 😂 In fact, somehow I remember more about transport trucks and snowplows than what he taught me about my own car 😂

So I know how to do all of these and have helped with them but I've only ever filled my tank because my dad and husband are both mechanics 🤷

I pump my gas and get regular oil changes 😂 I also keep it pretty clean.

I can change the door handles, change a tire, pump my own gas and that kind of thing, but other then that 🤷🏽‍♀️

i can do all of the above. i prefer not to.

I pay the dealership to take care of all of that, except for filling the gas tank.
