I’m thinking of applying to UBC from California. I’m going into my junior year and would like to know what I can do starting this year to make my potential application more competitive. I would like to apply for biology or a major that goes towards medical school. After some research it is my dream school.

I am having trouble finding stats for average gpa, sat scores, and such from international students who got accepted. Any info or tips will help! Thank you

P.s. I generally am interested in going to school in Canada because there are some great universities that I feel might be less competitive that ones where I live, any suggestions for other schools to consider? If my grades aren’t bad but aren’t amazing either.
