Has anyone used a fetal Doppler?

Hello all!! Just want to know from woman who have used one. Please don’t give me advice if you haven’t!

I used it every single day u til I was about 15 weeks. Now that I can feel the baby move, I only use it when I can’t feel him

I had one for both daughters. I was able to find their hearts at 10 weeks. The first time using it it took awhile to find, but you just gotta be patient. You can look up videos on YouTube on what it sounds like, it’s supposed to sound like a horse galloping basically. You should always start out super super low and then make your way up from there. It was wonderful to have and I used it until I could feel consistent movements daily. It’s great for a peace of mind.

I have an anterior placenta and baby was always hidden behind my artery and pelvic bone, so in early weeks I could never find the heart beat and it caused me a lot more stress. :/

I got one when I was 15 weeks and wasn’t really able to find the heartbeat until 16 weeks. I’m overweight and figure that has a bit to do with it along with the fact the doppler I got probably isn’t the best considering it was one of the cheaper options on amazon. I’m 18 weeks and still have a hard time finding it but I try not to worry when I can’t. I mainly got if so my husband could hear the heartbeat since he has only heard it at my 8 week apt and won’t hear it again until our gender scan in a few weeks. The smile on his face when we finally found the heartbeat at home was worth the frustration and wait of being able to find it.

It really helped me until i could feel her moving. I found her heartbeat at 11 weeks. you have to push pretty hard and it’s lower than you’d think.
