Every single pregnancy so far, I've done this- all three times we'd had sex around 9pm- by 3am I went into labour. I'm a believer!! If baby is ready- this will help I'm sure!! 👍🏼

It's the semen when he ejaculates inside of you. The semen has prostaglandins in it and that's known to soften the cervix, also if you orgasm it contracts your uterus which can start regular contractions.

From what I understand ejaculate does help soften the cervix. However, you'd need to have A LOT of sex to have it make a marked difference to when you go into labour.

My doctor I love he she told my husband you put the baby in you have to help get the baby out. But he still won't have sex he is not comfortable doing anything right now 36 weeks 5 day

It never worked for me... This is my fifth pregnancy and I always went a week over my due date! But enjoy it while you can! 😉

Not sure but from what I understand it's not the sex that can help it but the orgasm that can occur since it will cause your uterus to move. I believe the whole thing is a wise tail but you never know.
