I feel like an ass.

I’ve been talking this nice handicap guy at work for months. I don’t mean like conversations. I work in a deli so I’ve been talking to him asking him what he wants and stuff only to find out today that he is deaf. I just thought he couldn’t talk. I feel like such an ass.

* I said handicap because he isn’t just hearing impaired. He is a physical handicap he is also mentally handicap. I know the difference. I’m not stupid. That’s what he is. If I was being rude I would have called him the R word. There is nothing wrong with calling him a handicap.
