Not all caregivers are horrible (I'm great for example)!;)
Im also fortunate enough that I get ro stay home and raise her myself.
If I did ever need to go back to work though, My fiance amd I both agree that we wont leave the kids under anyone's care until theyre able to speak. At the end of the day you can't trust anyone (not even family sometimes).

I have to work full time. So it’s easy to say I don’t trust anyone with my daughter but I HAVE to find someone I trust to watch her. It is what it is.

I was all set to send my son to a daycare. I trusted them before really meeting them because of how well they did with my cousin.  They still go above and beyond with her (4y/o) because she has type A diabetes as well as celiac disease. The caring I seen with them made the choice easy for me. I ended up quitting my full time job for reasons not regarding Parenthood though so my son's with me. I also went to a babysitter from 8 weeks old to 9 years old. We are still in contact with her and I'm 28. So not all daycares/babysitters are bad.

i had a choice to not put my daughter in daycare until she was 3 1/2 years old. i didn't really have a choice with my son, he was in daycare at 4 months old. i don't have a choice with my third baby, she'll be in daycare the day i go back to work when she's 6-8 weeks old.
