FTM. I was “plus sized” to begin with, and at 37w, I’ve already gained about 35 lbs! 😧 I’m itching to get some off this weight back off and I’m curious how much other mamas lost immediately after giving birth. Please feel free to comment more specifically! Thanks!

My daughter weighed 7lbs. I lost 6lbs immediately after birth. But I lost about 12lbs within the next couple of days. I was crazy swollen from the amount of fluids they pumped in my veins. However I did breast feed and I actually lost more than I gained during pregnancy within a couple of months.

I gained about 50 pounds with my first pregnancy. By 6 weeks I’d lost 30 (never had time to eat hahaha) but it actually took real work to lose the remaining 20. I’ve now gained 10 back because I’ve been “bad” lately and just found out I am pregnant again. Hoping not to gain as much this time around!

One week after I had dropped 10lbs, but was still uber swollen and retaining water. Three weeks after I was down 32lbs and you could see my ankle bones again.

35 lbs is nothing to me lol! I gained over 80 with my first and lost 50 of it within a month of giving birth from breastfeeding and eating a little bit better

I actually lost 10lbs while I was pregnant. And then within 2 weeks pp I lost right at 40lbs🤷🏻‍♀️ my doctor was amazed😂
