I’m 15 years old and I’m going into 10th grade. I’m pretty nervous for what’s to come but I’m also excited. During 9th grade there was a lot of school shootings (none at my school). Every few weeks we would have a shooting talk ( where we hide, what we block the door with) we would even practice. I’m really scared that there’s going to be a school shooting at my school. We are still kids and we fear that we are going to be killed in a place of learning. They are selling bullet proof backpacks. There are bullet proof doors and windows in some schools. This should not be happening. Someone please help me feel better.
