Anyone have high fluid for no reason ?

Anyone here ever had high fluid without gestational diabetes ? My doctor said it’s a slim chance but could be a chromosomal abnormality and now I’m a wreck ... fluid is 30...

Has it been high for more than one scan? Fluid is super hard to measure and can change drastically depending on where baby is! I was told my fluid was at 28, then 20 literally 3 days later and now 16 another 3 days later (I get BPPs twice a week). And I have no leaks at all! When they measure it can’t have any of baby or cord in the fluid sack so it can vary with each scan, my doctor said there’s no concern unless it stays high for 3 consecutive scans (but still talked about what could cause it like GD or chromosomal issue because they have to).

My fluid was extremely high with one of my sons. They thought he had chromosomal issues as well. I had multiple ultrasounds and had to go to the high risk specialist twice a week. The ultrasounds also showed he had no nasal bone and the excess fluid so they were sure he had a chromosomal issue. They tried to get me to do an amino. I told them no because the risk of miscarriage with it. I ended up having over a gallon of amniotic fluid when I delivered my son at 32 weeks gestation. After he was out we discovered he didn’t have any chromosomal issues, and he also had a nasal bone. The doctor couldn’t figure out why I had too much fluid that pregnancy. The finding ending up being undetermined. My son spent some time in the NICU, but now he’s 13 yrs old and he’s in gifted classes. So, there definitely can be no definitive cause for the excess fluid.
