Seeing a CRNP or the MD?

Hey all, so I’m 39 weeks 4 days today. I have an appt for Friday with the nurse practitioner, but I am wondering if i should stick with that appt or call and try to find an appt with the MD? I see a group and haven’t had any issues, I just don’t know if it’s better to see a MD when I’m this far along.

If it makes you more comfortable, then you can always call and see if the MD has an opening.. I’ve only seen the MD one time, and that was only because the PA was out of office. And again this week, because she’s out of office. But the MD (my mom has known the doctor for a good while and she’s (dr) is very familiar with me and my mom. So that’s also helps me) but she still knows every single thing about what going on with my pregnancy. Anyways, I’m sure everything will be fine and he/she will still know everything that’s went on etc. but it could help if you have specific questions for the doctor. 🤷🏼‍♀️ whatever makes you more comfortable.
