I kinda view it as a respect thing 🤷🏽‍♀️ if my husband asked me not to I wouldn’t just because I wouldn’t want him to ever feel insecure... put yourself in his shoes. If you had asked him “for example” not to talk to a certain someone because it made you uncomfortable and he still chose to do it, wouldn’t you feel like you didn’t really matter that much? Idk that’s just me though

I’d agree with him if you’re posting pictures that are meant to be provocative (like posing on the hood of the car in a bikini). But, if like pictures where you’re at the beach with family and friends just hanging out then I’d say post them. If other people talk about you sexually then that’s on them. It doesn’t  affect your relationship unless you allow it. I personally wouldn’t stop posting pictures with my family and friends at the beach because of what I’m wearing. Because it’s not like people don’t see you at the beach/lake/pool in a bikini. So if he’s so worried about people talking about you sexually then you might as well never wear a bikini or any clothes that could be considered sexy.

Considering what I post I think a bathing suit is fine. You wear it out in public. Personally it would have to be a good reason, if it’s an insecurity reason that’s Just not a good enough reason for me. If it’s a safety concern or something else which for me would be a plausible scenario for me I might reconsider but honestly it’s my body, my accounts. I wouldn’t stop just because he’s insecure, I want my partner to be proud and show me off. Not have me dress from neck to ankle

If my SO asked me not to post bikini pics, I wouldn’t. It’s not like I have some NEED to post pics like that and his attention is the only attention I crave. I’ve chosen him to spend the rest of my life with so I’d choose his comfort over posting a pic, any day of the week.
