So with my son my water broke but not all of the way, it was a small fish while I was asleep and then nothing because his head blocked it. If I didn’t have contractions I wouldn’t have known.

Anyways this morning while waiting for my shower to warm up, I was just standing there when I felt something trickle down my inner thighs. I didn’t bother to look because I had sex last night so I thought it might be sperm or evening primrose oil like it normal. Well finally I look down and it’s like dripping down my inner thighs but the consistency is more liquid not thick like oil or sperm, I thought it was really odd. I smelled it (terrible idea) and I can’t even explain how it smelt but it was neither primrose oil or sperm.

So now I’m wondering how I should go about monitoring it, I live 40 minutes away from the hospital and have a two year old so a false alarm is a a lot of work to go to, plus I had a false water leak with my son and the whole ordeal was very embarrassing.

So how did you ladies monitor and know when it was really your water? What happens if the leak gets block and stops and I never know? Help! 😫
