formula?

has anyone left baby on formula past a year? did doctor suggest it? also seasonings behind it? my daughter is 13 months and has had the poos for 3 weeks now!! they switched her from soy milk to lactose free?

I used our infant formula until we ran out, which was around 13-13.5 months old. Then we started using toddler formula and still do. We plan to until he’s 3 years old (the age the toddler formula says it recommended for). I love that it provides all the necessary vitamins for growth and development. It’s so hard to make sure they get it all in just their food. My kiddo won’t drink milk by itself so it works out nicely to mix the formula with his milk. He drinks it no problem that way.

When we tried whole milk, my son was having stomach problems and dr said it’s normal because it’s something new. 
I did soy formula til he was 13 months... but then I know he didn’t need formula so I got lactose free milk and he’s been fine since

my kids go from formula to lactoseFree milk at 12 mo, they are both lactose intolerant but they did good w the change..
