 Is it safe to eat pineapples while pregnant?? My aunt told me it could cause miscarriages . Went to the doctors and they told me different, told me to eat all the fruit I wanted.

Listen to your doctor. Don’t listen to anyone besides them as people will tell you some crazy things, such as no pineapple. She probably told you that because women use it to try and induce labor but in the end, that’s also just an old wives tale.
Go ahead and eat it!

Eat away! Nothing can start labor until baby is ready. Also you’d have eat like 7 whole (core most importantly) pineapples in one sitting for it to “work”. which would give you a stomachache and diarrhea before it did anything to the baby

Be careful with pineapple. it contains brohmelades (might be misspelled) and they can cause contractions. I didn't believe it at first until I ate some pineapple and almost put myself into early labor. Took me over an hour of working through contractions to get them to calm down. Pineapple is a common thing to try when attempting to start labor.

Chinese medicine believes the bromelain in pineapple core can cause early labour or miscarriage. However, you would have to eat pineapple ALL THE TIME to eat enough of it to cause you any issues!

The only fruit my doctor has said is unsafe is papaya, specifically green papaya, but they told me to avoid it altogether. You’re fine if you eat a little pineapple.

I’ve been eating so much pineapple. They do recommend you eat fresh pineapple instead of canned. But your body will go into labor when it’s ready. Pineapple isn’t going to make you ready for labor.
