I’m about 7-8 weeks pregnant with my second child and I can’t talk about this pregnancy at all without my mother reminding me that it’s not viable yet and to not get my hopes up. “I wouldn’t get too excited just yet...” “you really don’t even know if this pregnancy will last...” “it’s way too soon to be thinking of names or making any plans. Anything could happen.”

Literally EVERY time I talk to her about it.

Am I being too sensitive or is she being ridiculously INSENSITIVE?
