So I miscarried and April at 10 weeks ended up having a d&c; couple days later. My family (mom aunts and cousins) are convinced the internal ultrasound is what damaged uterus and the baby causing the miscarriage. I'm pregnant again about 5 weeks now and my 1st appointment is August 9th. My family doesn't want me to use the same doctor and doesn't want me to get the internal ultrasound so I dont have a problem again and wants me to have the external ultrasound only. my mom says there is no need to go to the doctor at 6 weeks and again at 10 and said if I go at 6 weeks I dont have to go again until 16 and to opt for the more natural pregnancy with little intervention by doctors and equipment. What are your thoughts?
