My son, 17 months on 7/22 has recently expressed some queues that indicate he may be ready for potty training. He always pulls at his diaper when he's peeing. After he's done he attempts to take his diaper off. Most recently, when he takes naps and wake up he still has a dry diaper. He can say "pee pee" and he will say "stinky" when I ask if he needs a diaper. Do you think he's ready? My son attends day care during the hours of 8-5 and they do not start potty training until age 2. He is fairly advanced for his age and can respond to commands that I give him. He also has a very large vocabulary for his age and will attempt to say anything that I do when requested. I'm a first time mom, and not sure what to do. Even if I did start potty training, I am not sure where to begin. Advice appreciated!
