What were your experiences on NuvaRing??

Question

I just got out of the doctor with NuvaRing but I don't think I've made the right decision on picking NuvaRing instead of birth control pills. Will he feel it during sex? Will I? Help please !

I hated it. It made my vagina dry, and my husband could feel it so I was always taking it out AMD forgetting to put it in. I gave up on hormonal birthcontrol after the nuvaring, I hated it so much.

I think it depends on the woman. I loved NuvaRing and was on it for 6 years.  On the pill my hormones were crazy and they evened out completely on NuvaRing. My husband could feel it, but it didn't bother of affect him. After a while he didn't know the difference between when I had it in and when I didnt.  I did have a few yeast infections and a bacterial infection while on it, but nothing serious and who knows if it had anything to do with the ring.  The only reason I'm off it now is to regulate my system before we try to get pregnant.

Hated it felt like inside my vagina was burnt or like sunburn.
The withdrawal bleeding/period each month was the worst periods ever!

I would say it definitely depends on your body. I love mine, I've been on it since August of last year. I have noticed some lightheadedness during my periods but it's not enough to cause concern. My periods are only 4 days. My husband does not feel it at all during sex, and neither do I. I set an alarm on my phone to remember when to take it out and put it back in. I love it.
