Positive opks while breastfeeding?

My son is 13 months old and I had a positive opk on July 20 (had unprotected sex that day) and then negative ones and now another positive today. I haven’t had a period yet and im still nursing my son. Could these be false postives? Should I take a hpt?

So I am still nursing my daughter. I got my first period last month since having her 2 years ago. I started doing ovulation tests right after my period stopped. All month my tests have been positive or extremely close to positive. I did notice earlier in the month there were 2 smaller surges with signs of ovulation like ewcm.  But last week I noticed a much more obvious surge in my ovulation tests along with ewcm. I havent done temps. But if my cycles were normal, I would have gotten my period yesterday. I havent gotten it yet. Im thinking my body was just gearing up for ovulation all month and if i did ovulate, it was later than what it would normally be. I have had some cramping on and off throughout the month so that hasnt really been helpful in figuring out what is going on. At this point i dont think I cant rely on the ovulation tests too much because im pretty sure my hormones are out of whack from nursing.
