How much does your school age kids weigh?

I have a 7 year old daughter, she always weighs anywhere between 37-39 pounds. She always been small. We used to catch hell from her doctor because she was always under weight for her age. They even sent us to have a bunch of tests done to be sure nothing was wrong. All was completely normal and they didn't find anything. They eventually stopped mentioning it. Myself and my husband were small babies and as kids. I was 7lbs at birth and my husband was only 5lbs at birth and we were both full term babies as well as our daughter, she was actually a week late and was 6lbs 15ozs. I didn't put weight on till I was 10 or 11. Husband stayed small till he was closer to teenage years. So I'm assuming she just got it from us. Sometimes I wish she weight more but she has always ate good and is very healthy but pretty active.

That was exactly me at her age!!! My mom was always promising I could have a toy or something if I could gain another pound.
It actually a really unhealthy relationship with food for a long time, so just let her be! If you're providing food and she eats whatever she wants, she will grow on her own!!

My son is very tall and skinny. He is 6 and is 48lbs and 52inches tall. He eats constantly, just has a fast metabolism I guess 🤷🏼‍♀️

My daughter just turned 8 and weighs 54 lbs. She's always been on the petite side.

My son is 8 and weights 43lbs he has always been tiny. My husband and I both were as kids too. His dr isn’t worried about it  they were when he was younger. We had him on pedisure for a year and it barely helped. They also did x rays of his bones to make sure he was growing right. Everything was fine and he is healthy. Just tall and skinny.

my 5.5 year old weighs 51.8 lbs and my 9.5 year old weighs 59 lbs. I was told that kids are actually supposed to be like my 9.5 year old son and not chunky. he is tall and super skinny. all muscle and bone.

she sounds like my niece. she's very petite and as light as a feather. she gets it from her dad (my brother). that boy could eat junk food all day for an entire week and still not gain even half a pound. just has a super fast metabolism. my daughter is the opposite. she's built like an ox haha. shes 67.2 pounds and 4'1" and she's always felt bigger than she looks.

My son is 10 1/2 and he weighs 61-62 pounds, and he's fairly proportionate.  My daughter will be 3 in a month and she weighs 40-41 pounds, though she's tall for her age, so she's pretty proportionate as well.
