I’ve had my Mirena in for a year now with no problems, I only bled for a couple of weeks after insertion and have not even spotted since. Now all of a sudden I’m bleeding a fair amount, like a medium flow period. It’s been several days and not letting up. I’ve also had a headache this whole time (unsure if that’s related). There’s no cramping/ pain/ discharge/ smell so I don’t believe its infected. Anyone else have this problem? I can still feel a string but I can’t tell if it’s both or only one. I don’t check it often enough to know if it’s shorter or longer than usual.
