Condom causing UTI?

My boyfriend and I have had sex many times before and only a couple of those times it was with a different type of condom. In December we used a Trojan extended release condom and I ended up getting some type of bladder infection (I had gotten confused with a UTI) and ended up going to the ER. I didn’t think it was the condom I thought it was me not peeing after sex or holding my pee for too long or not drinking enough water. Well a couple days ago we had sex and used one of those condoms (brand new package) and I woke up with the same symptoms yesterday. I’m already taking antibiotics and drinking plenty of water to make the burning sensations go away since I am sure this is a UTI this time. But I was wondering if any of you have experienced the same thing?

Note: I am 19 years old and these are the only two times I have ever gotten these type of infections.
