Hey everyone! Sunday night my water broke at 6:30pm, 33+1. Not a leak either.. we went to the hospital and I’ve been admitted since. I’ve been on the iv for the antibiotics, and had both steroid shots to assist her lungs. Baby girl wasn’t due until September 15! I’ve had irregular contractions that aren’t too painful and am dilated to 2 cm with my cervix very thin. They gave me the option to wait until 35 weeks but the risks of infection sound terrifying and I feel like she’d make her own way out before then anyways. When they did the ultrasound, she was measuring about 4lbs 10oz but the tech said that may not be accurate due to it being hard to see from the lack of amniotic fluid, and that her head is so low in my pelvis it too was very hard to see. Does anyone else have any similar experiences or advice for me? She’s still doing fine in there, doctors described her as having a dance party lol.
