i experienced something similar. im 5weeks pg, and it felt different down there. it wasn't painful or anything, just different. this will be our #1 so i'm new to all these new sensations as well.  TMI but yes it felt tighter and swollen. haha. anyway, i hear it could be the increased blood flow down there.
