My fiancé & I are trying to have our first baby! We’ve been TTC for 4 months now (I know that’s not very long), but we already lost one (I didn’t know I was pregnant until I miscarried). I stopped my birth control back in February & I was on the Depo Shot. I have been in that since I was 16 (I’m 22 now) and I didn’t have a period at all during that time. My periods are JUST starting to become normal again (this is the first month it actually came when I expected it to) but I’m worried that 6 years straight on the Depo shot has ruined my ability to have a normal period & potentially have a baby.

Did anyone else conceive after the Depo shot? How long after? Any supportive words or advice to a young couple TTC first time?? 😩
