So I had my birth control removed today (Implanon) the Doctor said we could just start trying immediately even though I initially thought you had to wait a few months to allow the hormones out of your system. How long did it take others to conceive after having Implanon removed?

Funnily enough my husband and I discussed waiting a month regardless of what the Doctor said. But we just had our first bout of unprotected sex and he said “Na we are not waiting a month”. Doesn’t matter to me either way I can’t blame the poor guy for not wanting to use condoms. We have to use non latex and those are the worst!

Also is there some kind of group to teach me what all these acronyms means? I’m clueless on the majority
