My husband and I have been TTC for 17 months. We recently found out I had a few infertility issues that required surgery, which I had last week. Now I have to wait 3 more months to heal.

We don’t want to tell everyone we are trying and have been unsuccessful. How do you all deal with the pain? You know, the pain you feel every time a friend announces a pregnancy, or someone asks why you don’t have kids, or tells your husband he better “get on it” because the clock is ticking? The pain of getting invited to yet another baby shower?

So many women have been trying for so much longer than me. I have all the respect and love in the world for them. Tell me how you do it! I can’t take much more.
