Is it true that when you take pills, it promotes the growth of the cancer cells in your breast?

Answer

Sometimes, not all the time. My grandmother is a survivor and doctors said the cause was most likely the estrogen in the pill she took, she was diagnosed in her in her 40s. I spoke with my doctor about it (it may run in my family) and my doctor said there is no known link in women on the pill under a particular age, but there could be a link in older women on the pill. If it's a concern for you I recommend chatting with your doctor about it, mine gave me a very low dose estrogen pill because of my family's history.
