How effective is Plan B/emergency pills?

We had unprotected sex for 2 days, without withdrawal, and we found out it was my fertile week. We have no plans of having a baby YET. so we turned into plan B. I drank 4 pills asap after sex, and 4 pills after 12 hrs. Do you think it's effective?

I'm experiencing abdominal pain/cramping, feeling hungry always and nausea. No vomiting. Headaches too. Is this the side effect of the pill?

Um is that the recommended amount on the box? If not that 8 pills in a 24 hour period and you're not even supposed to take plan b twice within a few month period because of how hard it is on your body, you could be experiencing overdose. Plan b can cause abdominal cramping, nausea/vomiting, headache, vaginal bleeding, breast tenderness, tiredness, and diarrhea. Drug overdose symptoms could be Chest pain is possible and can be caused by heart or lung damage.Shortness of breath may occur.Breathing may get rapid, slow, deep, or shallow. Abdominal pain, nausea,vomiting, and diarrhea and the increase in appetite is probably you being stressed and worrying. Chances you aren't pregnant it's most effective the first day and decreases each day after that and after day 3 it won't work.

As far as I'm concerned, plan b is one pill. I've taken it, and had some awful side effects such as: cramping,
Loss of appetite, it has screwed up my usual period track, and vomitted once. It is a good lasts resort, regardless of the side effects Bc if youre not ready, you're not ready, there's not much else to it. However, I do think there is something seriously wrong with having to take 8 pills. If you still have the box, maybe post a pic of it or look into it more online. Something seems wrong
