I had an appointment with a new Ob/GYN that my pcp referred me to yesterday. She confirmed that my levels show I have PCOS. Outlined options and also mentioned that seeing a fertility specialist would speed up the process. My husband has to get checked and after those results come back (she's assuming he will not have any issues) I can try Clomid for a few cycles. She told me to look in to a specialist (gave me two that are near me) so that I take that in to consideration. She said that the clomid may work but because of my age (39) I need to make decisions promptly. I'm trying to remain calm and rational and of course am going to look in to seeing the specialists. Has anyone in a similar situation had success with the Clomid route?
