I'm 42 and husband is 40? we very much want to add a baby to our family. really worried I may be too old what do u think?

Have you seen a dr?  Are you menstruating regularly?  How long have you been trying?  Do you have other health conditions that could impact?  All things to consider.  At face value no, if you are regular it is normal for our bodies (I’m 43) to give that one last push to conceive which can last for a few years just prior to going into menopause.  How is your sex drive.  That is critical.  Coming into these last 2 cycles I could have give a rats butt if we had sex, we have a 3 year old and both work more than full time jobs, plus I was finishing up my bachelors degree (finally).  These last 2 cycles my drive has spiked something fierce and my husband asked me where has this been?  We were not TTC officially but if it happens then awesome!  I will do everything I can to increase my chances but I won’t go to measures like IUI or IVF like we did before.  So long story short no you aren’t but too many other things factor into that and only you can answer those questions!  Good luck!
