Baby CC was born July 5th via cesarean, 21 days early due to finding out she was dealing with an asymmetric growth restriction where the placenta was not providing her enough nutrients to grow, which was likely due to my anemia throughout the pregnancy. My medical team attempted to induce, yet CC's heartbeat dropped every time I had a contraction so for safety measures I got a cesarean. It all went so quickly and all of my delivery plans went out the window, the only thing that mattered was that our rainbow baby made it out safely and she was healthy and that she did. She was born weighing 5 pounds 11 ounces and measuring 19.5 inches long. She's a month old today and and is over 7 pounds 6 ounces! She's growing very well and doing great. She's such a blessing and joy in both my husband's and I's life!
