Bedtime routine?!

Not sure if they are still too young, but how early should you try and get your baby into a good bedtime routine and stick to it?! 
I’ve been trying to get my little girl to go down around 9, 9.30 and so far she has been sleeping through the night. She had her last feed at 7.30 so I am expecting her to wake up during the night for a bottle

We got our son into a routine at 8 weeks. last feed at 630 or 7 in his darkened nursery and then storytime or bath. we rock him until he's drowsy and then put him down. he's usually asleep by 730. I wake him up when I go to bed at 11 for a dream feed. right now, he has 1 nighttime wake up around 2 or 3 am, but then sleeps until we get up for the day at 7am. I had heard from the ped to make bedtime 12 hours before your day usually begins, so that when they do start sleeping through the night, you have a good schedule.

Yes we started bathtime followed by night breast feed in bed with lights off a few weeks ago and it worked. She now goes to bed at 10pm (was going to sleep anywhere from 12-2am before) and sleeps 5-7 hrs (she’s not super consistent) then feeds then another 2-4 hrs then up every 1.5 hrs until we get up at 10am. I think she’s probably sleep better at the end if she went to bed earlier, but I prefer to have her sleep the first long stretch when I’m asleep too.

It looks like everyone has a similar routine. My son will be 11 weeks tomorrow.   We also do a bath every other night around 7/730, last feed is right after bath or around 8. We use the Love to Dream SwaddleUp which has been amazing.  I then usually rock with white noise in a dimmed light with a goal to get him asleep by 830 so I can put my 4 year old to sleep on time (she likes my husband to read to her and I tuck her in).  Lately he sleeps until around 1or 2 and is up again at 5. This schedule is perfect for us because I go back to work in 2 weeks (!) and I will need to be up at 5 for work. He will then go back down for another 2 or 3 hours. I'm fine with the one long stretch though. He is breastfed so I didn't expect him to sleep through the night. My first didn't sleep through the night gir the first year so this is actually great for us. No complaints!

This is my second and we started a routine with her this week at 11 weeks. She takes a bath every other day by 8:30pm, story time then nurse to sleep. She’s sleep by 9:30 and sleeps until 4am. 
I’m so happy I started this because my 3 year old has horrible sleeping habits because we never sleep trained her.

We do a nap late (7-8pm) so she only goes down for bed around 10-11pm. She sleeps between 5-7hours before waking to eat. I am going back to work in 3 weeks, so I’d like to get a better routine set up, only problem is her daddy sometimes works until 8-9 at night so he will have absolutely no time with her since she will go with me early in the morning when I go back to work.

We have used the same routine since we got home from the hospital...7:00 bath, 7:30 feed in the darkened room,  bed as soon as hes done eating.  Around 3 weeks he started to figure out the routine and would fall right asleep.  By 6 weeks he was sleeping 5-6 straight hours feed then wake up to eat every 3 hours till 7am.  Now at 11 weeks he makes it 6-9 hours feed then back to sleep till around 6:30. I am so excited that we're finally down to one feed a night 🙌🙌 good luck finding a routine that works for you!!!

We started a routine from I think 3 weeks. So around 7:30 we do bath every other day, massage, then I nurse him, swaddle, bedtime story and I'll rock him/burp him while singing a lullaby. Usually the whole process takes about 1hr with bath, 45min without. He's normally down between 8-9. I just recently started putting him down drowsy but awake and shush patting him if he starts fussing. He sleeps until about 1-2am so I get a 4-6 hr stretch, then feeds, then up again at 5ish for another feed, then he's up all happy at 6:15 like clockwork but I dont want to start the day that early so I just hold him rock him to sleep until 7:30-8. He's 2 months

I've had my son on the same bed time routine since we brought him home
7:00- bath with lavender soap (its relaxing and makes babies drowsie)
after bath he eats
then we swaddle, read him a short book, give him some cuddles
and put him to bed drowsy but not sleeping yet
at 11 I get him for a dream feed
he sleeps for about 6 hours before eating again
