4 month eating regression?

My baby is 4 months old on Monday, and is eating less than normal. I breastfeed, so I can’t tell you how many ounces she is taking, but she is refusing the boob more times than not.. the only time she’ll eat is if she’s tired and even then she doesn’t seem to eat much. Her diaper output is normal, about 12ish a day, sometimes more and sometimes less. Is this normal? I don’t know what to do, because she refuses the boob!

My son will be 4 months on the 8th (omg already!?!) and is definitely not nursing as much! I have been thinking about posting the same question! He literally nurses 4 maybe 5 times a day - that’s it! I have to wake him up as he started taking 2 hour naps and goes way too long without nursing. It’s so weird! I know I know - everyone has problems but I can’t believe I have the problem of my guy sleeping so much! He sleeps 6-11 hours at night and takes 2-3 2 hour naps. It’s crazy! I would much much rather this issue than the other no sleeping issue - BTDT - but ugh! I’m about to call the doctor cause I feel like it’s affecting my production - but of course, I know I will adjust to meet his needs but I didn’t think I’d be adjusting DOWN as he got older! Keep me posted as to whether your LOs appetite comes back! Good luck!

I noticed the same thing with mine the past 2 days, she also seems to be going through a sleep regression

YESSS my daughter started doing that a about 2 weeks ago, but shes back to eating regularly now. My friend who EFB both her daughters said that around this time they can get the BM out easier and faster so it doesnt take as long to eat and since they're getting more now it keeps them full longer. As long as theyre having wet/dirty diapers everything's okay 😊

She’s also teething, so I’m not sure if that has anything to do with it!
