How often do you read to your May ‘18 baby?

What sorts of things do you read to your baby? Does s/he seem engaged and interested?

I read a simple book in the morning that is colorful and makes sounds for him to look at and touch and kick; and in the evening we read a longer story around bedtime as part of his routine.

My baby is 2 months, we read a bedtime story every night in our night routine. Well more like I read it lol. Once he is fed and swaddled, I rock him while reading and he usually drifts off. He just stares at me the whole time 😁

I tried to do this as part of bedtime but after her bath she just screams until she gets the boob so I gave up. She didn’t seem engaged when I tried but maybe will try again in the morning when she is fresh.

We read every day, sometimes a couple of times a day. She will talk to the books too❤️💕

We read between nap times as one of our activities.  She seems to enjoy the book that we read repeatedly - Baby Animals Touch and Feel - and actually can stay focused for the entire book.
