Inhaling burned plastic fumes?! Help!
So any help with this would be appreciated!! Inhaling burned plastic fumes?!
This evening my husband accidentally microwaved a plastic microwaveable noodle dinner dish without the water 😳 and of course, our house filled with burned plastic smoke and fumes within minutes. We realized what happened and aired out the house but our throats were burning and eyes too. We then left our house to get away. I tried to call my OB's emergency line but the person who answers is not a medical professional and cannot advise me. So my question is do you think inhaling these fumes caused any harm? Should I be worried? I'm 27 weeks and I do feel the baby moving. We aired out the house but it still smells terrible. Is it safe for us to return? It's been about two hours and we are at our neighbors hoping to go back to our house soon. Did anyone do something similar and have any advice? I'm giving myself anxiety worrying. :(
