I finally grew some balls after seven years and got my belly button pierced 😂

I just wanna know is it normal for it to go red? I do understand that can indicate infection and I do understand how piercings work (this isn’t my first rodeo)

Around the little ball is quiet red, it’s obviously sore, I’ve only had it done for two days, I’ve been applying the antiseptic spray and tonight rinsed it with warm salty water.

None of my piercings have ever become infected.

It has had quite a few knocks as well from rolling around in my sleep and while I’ve been at work.

Is it just irritated?

The bottom ball is fine and I think that’s because it’s quite snug in there and hasn’t gotten knocked around as much?
