Yeast infection and TTC

We just recently started TTC but during my tww I got a yeast infection. Dr recommended Monistat 7. Has anyone gotten a yeast infection or bv and still gotten pregnant? I wonder if this infection can have an effect in conceiving. Any opinions or thoughts or experiences?
