Hitting?!?!

Omg he’s obsessed with hitting! He hits us with objects for play and then when he’s upset he will start smacking me!! I tell him no firmly and it does upset him but how do i get him to stop??

If you find out let me know! lol. My son hits me directly in the face, then will lean in for a kiss because he knows he did wrong. I've been grabbing his hand and telling him no very firmly. Not working.

Yeah my daughter can get violent! And she laughs like it’s funny 😨 She pulls Out my hair (it happens really fast and hard pulls), will literally grab my stomach really hard like squeezing with all her might- she does nipple twists, biting, the whole bit! If you say no firmly she starts to giggle. My husband wants to get more intense with verbal No’s but I don’t want him to... hoping she will grow out of it soon.

My daughter does the same. She smacks me then looks at me like this 😮 like testing the waters. I just tell her no. But she has started pulling my hair and trying to pull my eyelashes if we are sleeping and she wakes up first. Just curious little babies

Getting a reactions is really fun for them. So we try to have no reaction, and just set him down or set him aside. Later we guide his hand in nice gentle touches, and give big positive reactions.

How about saying it hurts and fake crying? Or saying ‘gentle touches’ and showing her that patting would be better? We do the latter for interactions with our dog.
