Help !!

So today I’m a whole week late ! And the latest I’ve ever gotten AF was on the 5th should I wait till the 5th to test or test immediately ? I know it’s up to me but what you ladies do ? I’m only asking because I don’t wanna see another negative again and I don’t wanna get excited for nothing just yet
